My research area relates to kindergarten, school and social integration of children / young people with special educational needs and persons with disabilities, in particular the development of inclusive institutions towards inclusiveness and the attitude of host communities.

My other topic is related to hearing-impaired children / people. I examine the conditions for integrated education of children with hearing impairment, the environment that supports integration, the evolution of the identity of people with hearing impairment in an integrated environment, and the issues of social inclusion in the most important areas of adult living, such as work, family and leisure.

Research and development activities aimed at the labor market integration and inclusion of people with disabilities, consisting of the creation and implementation of a participatory awareness-raising program in cooperation with market actors. The effectiveness of the program—specifically, the positive change in attitudes toward employees with disabilities—is measured and validated through impact assessment.
